IISI S6 cleans all domestic wastewater from one household (1–6 people). The IISI continuous treatment plant is the most reliable treatment plant on the market. It has one water recirculation pump that periodically circulates water to a biofilter, which cleans the wastewater biologically. Below the biofilter is a fixed 3-compartment sedimentation tank that effectively separates solids. Phosphorus is precipitated chemically. Water flows through the treatment plant by gravity.
The need for maintenance is minimal and the IISI treatment plant can withstand long periods of downtime very well and is also well suited for use in leisure properties. It is easy and quick to install and fits into a small area on the plot.
