Vestelli Suction well package with ventilation 315 x 2200 mm, high (IKP)
The suction well package is an excellent solution for underground rock pile removal. The suction well can also be used to take a sample of the purified water if the municipality so requires. The suction well also functions as an inspection well. This ensures that the water is properly absorbed into the soil and in case of problems, maintenance can be carried out through the suction well. If the purified water is discharged into an open ditch, the municipality usually requires a sampling well before the discharge.

Installation
- Make sure the base soil is permeable or that the water can drain away otherwise
- Make sure that the inlet pipe has a slope towards the sump. The height of the incoming pipe determines the installation height of the sump.
- Dig a trench 1 meter wide and long enough (about 3–3.5 m). The depth of the trench should be such that at least 40 cm of gravel can be obtained below the well and 40 cm below the suction pipe.
a coin. - Place gravel with a grain size of 8–16 mm and install the absorption well in place. Connect the absorption pipe and ventilation pipe in place. The absorption pipe is covered with gravel so that it is at least completely covered. The gravel is not sealed.
- Cover the hole with filter cloth. Fill and level some of the backfill soil over the filter cloth. Make sure the vent pipe is straight.
- Place frost insulation on top of the leveled fill soil (for example 10 cm of Finfoam or similar). The insulation is made 40 cm wider than the trench.
- Make the final backfill on top of the insulation to the final ground level. Cut the absorption well to the ground level so that the cover can be easily placed. Secure the cover with a screw. The backfill is not sealed.
- Cut the vent pipe approximately 90 cm above the final ground level. Put the vent pipe cap in place.
