Description
Biocleaner 2 pulp well replacement pulp ready for use
The replacement mass for the Biopurifier 2 mass pit is a pre-sized and pre-mixed filter mass that ensures the efficient operation and optimal cleaning results of the Biopurifier 2 system. The filter mass consists of a combination of biochar and sand, which binds solids, nutrients and harmful microbes naturally and effectively in the wastewater.
Pre-sized and easy to replace
The pulp pit replacement mass is supplied as a ready-to-use filter mass, which is poured into the supplied pulp filter bag. The bag is closed with a sticker or cable tie and placed in the pulp pit stand. The replacement process is quick and can be done without special tools.
Maintenance and service life
The filter media in a mass pit should be replaced at least once a year or every 750 days of use. For example, if the filter is used by five people, the replacement interval is approximately 150 days. Signs of saturation of the media include poor water permeability or water flowing past the filter through the overflow pipe. In these cases, the media should be replaced immediately.
Ecological and safe after use
The used filter media can be used as a soil conditioner or composted in an environmentally friendly way. Before refilling, the old media is removed, the tank is rinsed and the new media is placed in a clean bag. This maintenance cycle ensures the efficiency of the Biopurifier 2 treatment plant year after year.
