Lapuanjoki Rantakeidas chose Vestell’s wastewater system, Alahärmä

The Lapuanjoki Rantakeidas tourism company offers unique and idyllic accommodation for families and couples in the peace of the countryside. The courtyard can accommodate 10-20 people at a time and new accommodation is currently being completed. Vestell’s bio-purifier and Biokube Pluto were chosen as the wastewater system for the new premises.

In addition to idyllic accommodation facilities, the same courtyard also includes a lakeside sauna with a swimming beach. In the yard, you can play yard games, jump on a trampoline and go jogging. There is also a detached house for entrepreneurs on the same plot.

– Last summer, we had around 500 guests, sums up Marketing Manager Sonja Riihikangas .

– We needed to build additional showers and toilets for the premises. We asked for bids for the wastewater systems and ultimately ended up with Vestell, recalls Leila Riihikangas, the owner of Lapuanjoki Rantakeita.

Vestelli offered a working solution

At Vestell, the design of a new wastewater system always begins with a design visit. During the visit, the current system and possible new options are reviewed. At Vestell, entrepreneurs were convinced that they had all the necessary information. They were also able to convince the customer of the functionality of the system in the specific location.

– Vestell’s Biopurifier 4 was installed here, which is suitable for greywater from around 1-10 people. A closed tank was installed alongside it. The detached house was equipped with Biokube’s Pluto, which is a continuous small treatment plant suitable for all types of wastewater, says Vestell designer Sanna Lehtinen .

The installation work was carried out in the summer of 2019. The first toilet was operational by Midsummer, and then installation work was carried out until October, when the last topsoil was put in place.

– You could say that the installation went exactly like in Strömsö. There’s nothing wrong with that, says host Risto Riihikangas .

– The fact that the purifiers are biological is important to us. We have a lot of customers who want to know how the wastewater system is made. We need to be able to answer. We can say that this is how it was made and everything is in order, Risto emphasizes.
