The fiber works on top of the filter discs and forms a microbial layer that cleans greywater from cottages and holiday homes \u2013 including shower, dishwasher and washing machine water. <\/p>\n<h3><strong>Ecological and safe material<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The filter fiber is made from domestic, screened curd peat, which is naturally biodegradable and completely free of additives. The fiber meets the maximum limits for heavy metals set by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, so it is safe to use and dispose of. After use, the fibers can be utilized as a soil conditioner or composted.  <\/p>\n<h3><strong>Easy to maintain and replace<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Pisara filter fiber is easy to replace in accordance with the normal maintenance cycle, approximately every 100 days.
