Catharina and Henrik&#8217;s houses and their daughter&#8217;s are located in the same yard in a sparsely populated area where the municipal water supply network does not reach. They use Vestell Bio Purifiers to treat their greywater.  <\/p>\n<p>Catharina and Henrik, now retired, are both biologists by training. They moved to their current residence in South Sipoo in 1977. Catharina&#8217;s grandparents had previously, since the 1920s, kept a small market garden in the same yard. The plot borders directly on the Gulf of Finland.   <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u2013 In 2013, we started planning to build \u00c4lvsbytalo here. At the same time, we considered different options for wastewater treatment. We didn&#8217;t want to send wastewater to Viikki, from where it would eventually end up in the sea. We thought about finding some kind of comprehensive solution where these problems could be solved here on site, Catharina recalls.   <\/p>\n<p>\u2013 The old system in our own house no longer met the requirements of the new law. We didn&#8217;t think it was good enough anyway. We needed a solution that would be easy to live with and that would work, he continues.  <\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Vestelli - Westermark - FIN\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xJ3ysa_eTEg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>An easy and hassle-free way to clean greywater<\/h2>\n<p>Catharina and Henrik carefully researched and compared different options on the Finnish and Swedish markets. However, no solution was found that would purify all water, so they ended up separating greywater and blackwater. Of the greywater purifiers, Vestell&#8217;s Biopurifier was the only one that would make the water so clean when it came out of the tank that it could be discharged directly into nature. The biopurifier was also easy to install, as it does not require separate anchoring.   <\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Many different solutions were quite interesting, but in almost all of them the post-cleaning had to be renewed or replaced at certain intervals. This kind of thing causes much more costs and work afterwards than this Vestell solution, Catharina sums up. <\/p>\n<p>\u2013 The bio-purifier does not need any filter media or anything similar, but works completely without it, Henrik summarizes.<\/p>\n<h2>\u201cIn this situation, Vestelli is the best possible solution\u201d<\/h2>\n<p>Catharina and Henrik have purchased a total of four Biopurifiers from Vestell so far: three in Etel\u00e4-Sipoo and one in Helsinki for Catharina&#8217;s late parents&#8217; home. The biopurifiers are now responsible for the treatment of all greywater. A separate closed tank is used for blackwater, and there is also an eco-water tank in the yard.  <\/p>\n<p>\u2013 The bio-cleaners have worked exactly as we expected them to work. They are really reliable and achieve good cleaning results.
