Antti Kosunen and his wife are currently renovating a unique complex of 24 apartments in Nuuksio. PolkuNuuksio Resort is located on the shores of Lake Kurjolampi within the nature reserve of Nuuksio National Park.
However, the whole thing differs from a conventional resort, as the property is jointly owned. Here, it is possible to buy an apartment and thus a piece of the resort. The apartment can be used for both personal and rental use. When the owner does not use the apartment himself, the company can, if the owner wishes, take care of renting the apartment. The continuous functionality of the services is guaranteed by the host and hostess who live on site. PolkuNuuksio is a wonderful leisure investment that pays for itself and takes care of itself.
PolkuNuuksio is the perfect place for someone who wants to enjoy the peace of nature without the obligations of a summer cottage. Residents are attracted by the comprehensive range of nature activities and the resort’s excellent services. Activities include a beach, two saunas, one of which is a beach sauna, an indoor and outdoor gym, and hiking trails in the national park, from which the Klassarinpolku trail starts directly from the resort’s yard. In addition to the stunning scenery, the site also offers excellent mushroom and berry forests, cycling trails , and in winter, skiing and snowshoeing terrain.
As PolkuNuuksio is located in a nature reserve, it is important that it has a wastewater system that achieves the highest purification results. The site’s wastewater is treated with the Vestelli BioKube – a wastewater purifier for all wastewater. The BioKube meets even the strictest environmental requirements and is therefore perfectly suited to an area where the purification requirements are among the strictest in Finland. “A system was chosen that provides top-notch cleaning results and is best with variable water usage.”
Owner Antti Kosunen is the CEO of Earthster.org, a company whose business is based on measuring the environmental impacts of various products . Therefore, it was important for Antti to choose a wastewater system that has the lowest possible environmental impact. “We are careful to operate on nature’s terms and while protecting nature.”
Another important criterion for Antti is that the wastewater system works flawlessly even with changing load levels, as the resort’s occupancy rate varies. The BioKube device technology utilizes continuous water circulation, which ensures the device’s operation in all conditions.
Antti says that the project went smoothly and he has been satisfied with the collaboration with Vestell. “ It is a pleasure to collaborate with knowledgeable and proactive people.”
PolkuNuuksio’s demonstration apartments will be completed soon and the first apartments are already available for booking. You can learn more about the apartments here .
