The owners of the new development in Paattisinen, Turku, Julius and Emilia Heikkilä, initially considered buying a ready-made house, but ultimately decided to build it themselves so that they could make sure that they could fulfill the wishes of their family of three and get a unique look from the end result.

Heikkilä wanted to create a dream home for his family that would respect nature and offer them a peaceful environment for year-round living. The construction project started in 2019, and although they had to wait a long time for a building permit, the family was finally able to move into their new home in July 2022.
