Oy Embria Village wanted to renew the wastewater system of a building complex in Joutseno. They wanted a system that would meet today’s environmental and legal requirements. All wastewater on the site is now treated by a BioKube Mars 6000. Larger BioKubes are always sized to suit each site. The system built for this site has enough capacity for up to a hundred people.

Embria Village’s contact person explains the project implementation in more detail. He says that the cooperation with Vestell went really well. At first, they received a written offer, after which Vestell called and clarified Embria Village’s specific needs.

After the first phone call, they quickly reached an agreement on what kind of wastewater system would be suitable for Embria Village’s needs . Embria received an offer from Vestelli, which they eventually agreed to. According to their contact person, Vestelli was the most willing of the wastewater companies to communicate and understand the needs of the site. He says that Vestelli acted in accordance with their wishes and implemented a wastewater system that was completely suitable for them.

The wastewater plan for the site was prepared by Jouni Saarinen. A high-quality plan was a really important part of the project at this site, as it is a large wastewater system. When the designer comes to the site, the different options are discussed and then the wastewater plan is implemented. Vestelli also handles permit matters with the municipal building department and the environmental department.

The installation of BioKube Mars at the site was handled by Lasse Åkerlund from Vestell, and Vestell’s partner Ruokolahden LVI- ja Konetyö Oy. According to Embria Village, the installation work was well organized. Embria’s contact person says that all the equipment arrived on time and the installation work was carried out by two men within the agreed schedule. The location of the system was changed during the installation. This was a really good decision, as the installation work was easier and the new location is also a good solution for the functionality of the system.

Embria Village has been very satisfied with the system’s performance. One of the most significant reasons for choosing this system was BioKube’s unique continuous operation based on water circulation, which allows for minimal and even intermittent use of the system.
