Markku Vuorenpää lives with his family in Säkylä on the shores of Lake Pyhäjärvi. The detached house, built in 1987, is located in a waterfront area with high requirements for wastewater treatment and purification. A Vestell Biopurifier, which meets strict requirements, has been installed in the yard’s basement, which is responsible for treating gray water as part of the dual sewer system.
Markku and his family’s house is located in an area with high groundwater levels. It is strictly forbidden to discharge wastewater into the ground and the regulations regarding wastewater treatment are strict. To achieve the highest possible level of purification, Markku decided to purchase a Vestell Biopurifier, which replaced his previous field solution.
– We have the strictest cleaning requirements in Finland, Markku emphasizes.
Chemical-free cleaning process results in clear water
Markku and his family’s home is a fully equipped detached house with a washing machine and shower. The house is always inhabited by at least two people all year round. The bio-purifier is part of the dual sewerage system necessary for the coastal area.
– The bio-purifier oxidizes the water and the bacteria take care of the purification process. The water is then clear. The bio-purifier does not require additives or chemicals, and is easy to maintain, says Markku.
