Biopurifier 3 is an easy-to-use, functional and reliable system, Kangasala

Tiina Järvilä is a native of Tampere and she wanted a holiday home for her family fairly close to home. Tiina’s grandparents owned a lakeside plot in Längelmäki, Kangasala, with an old lakeside sauna and a small cottage building.

It was natural to keep a familiar and well-loved property in the family, so when the time was right, Tiina bought the property for her family and had a new, larger holiday home built in place of the old cottage. The villa chosen was the Nuuna log villa from Kuusamo Log Homes, which the whole family fell in love with at first sight. The new villa has plenty of space for the entire Järvilä family of four and, of course, their pet dog.

The old cottage had no water supply and the sewage system did not meet current requirements. The Järviläts wanted amenities and municipal water for the new building, which also required fixing the sewage system. The wastewater solution selected was a Vestell Biopuhstija 3 greywater purifier and a five-cubic-meter closed tank for toilet water.

Initially, Tiina searched for information about different wastewater systems online, after which she visited the Asta trade fair in Tampere. At the fair, Tiina had spoken with a Vestell representative and received good advice on implementing a wastewater system, and she also remembered a good and reliable image of Vestell as an industry player. Tiina ended up with a dual sewer solution and the Biopuhstija 3 product for grey water, as it convinced her as an easy-to-use and particularly environmentally friendly system.

As a final point, Tiina also thanks Vestell’s customer service. Questions have been answered quickly and things have been handled well. According to Tiina, the installation of the Biopurifier was quick and easy. Local installers had done numerous Vestell installations, so everything went smoothly.

Although everything went smoothly with the Biopurifier, Tiina advises anyone starting construction to allow extra time and a lot of patience for the project. Construction usually takes longer than you think and there are always things you can’t prepare for at the beginning.
