Asko Virtanen renovated the wastewater system of his detached house in Pertunmaa. He had seen Vestell’s advertisement online, after which he had taken a closer look at Vestell’s Biopurifier. Asko found the Biopurifier to be a suitable solution for them, as they already had separate systems for black and grey water.

“The site was not easy because the water discharge point was low-lying and a lot of water accumulated in the excavation pit during the installation phase. An absorption or filtration field would therefore not have been a possible solution. The bio-purifier stays well in the ground due to its weight, and it does not require anchoring.”

Even though the plot is rocky, a suitable place for the Biopurifier was found near the house. In addition, Asko installed a sewer connection well in front of the Biopurifier so that the water from the new sauna can be directed to the same purifier.
